EMTONE™ CELLULITE TREATMENT
SMOOTH OUT DIMPLED SKIN AT PORTLAND'S WALDORF CENTER
Many people think cellulite is a “fat problem,” but the cottage cheese-like dimples that tend to develop on thighs, buttocks, and elsewhere are actually the result of several different factors. Emtone™ cellulite treatment at Portland’s Waldorf Center addresses all of them, using two forms of specialized energy to reduce the appearance of the dimples for smoother skin. The dual effect generates results not possible from either solitary option. It can be used on the arms, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs.
Emtone™ cellulite treatment is made by the same company as EMSCULPT®, a nonsurgical fat reduction treatment that makes use of high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy. Both devices have been rigorously tested and cleared by the FDA for cosmetic use. WHY CHOOSE THE EMTONE™ CELLULITE TREATMENT IN PORTLAND?
Emtone™ Real Patient Testimonial

Knowledge of what causes cosmetic problems, as well as what specific actions correct them, is an important element in any treatment plan.

Most simply put, cellulite is the result of connective bands pulling down on the skin, creating a small, visible depression. While this condition can develop in anyone, it most commonly appears in women and is associated with excess fat. That’s because large fat cells push the skin outward, creating more tension against the connective bands, known as septae. Other factors that make cellulite apparent include age-related loss of skin elasticity, poor blood flow, and the accumulation of metabolic waste below the skin.
The Emtone™ cellulite treatment employs both targeted pressure energy and radiofrequency to relieve the tension by encouraging fresh collagen growth and improved skin elasticity, reduction of fat cells, freeing up waste to be flushed out, and improving circulation. Together, these changes allow the skin to ease up in areas where it is puckered.

YOUR EMTONE™ CELLULITE TREATMENT CONSULTATION
A consultation at The Waldorf Center is designed to ensure each patient is heard and that the right treatment is being selected. Good candidates for Emtone™ cellulite treatment are those who want to address the dimpling without the use of an invasive device and who want to improve the overall look of their skin in the targeted areas.
THE EMTONE™ CELLULITE TREATMENT PROCEDURE
Patients lie face down for this treatment, which has been likened to getting a hot stone massage accompanied by strong vibrations. The best results typically require four sessions scheduled once or twice a week. Though treatment time varies depending on the area or areas addressed, a single session can be expected to generally last around 20 minutes.
There is no downtime necessary after Emtone™ cellulite treatment.
Some improvement may be visible right away, but smoother skin will continue to develop over the following months as collagen and elastin levels rise and tension continues to ease.
Studies have shown a 90 percent patient satisfaction rate after an Emtone™ cellulite treatment.
MORE THAN EMTONE™
Patients who want especially smooth skin on their legs may also want to consider laser hair removal or waxing, both of which are available at The Waldorf Center.
For contouring the buttocks and thighs, CoolSculpting® can reduce fat without surgery, while EMSCULPT® and CoolTone™ can boost muscle tone. Surgical options include liposuction for fat reduction, as well as thigh lifts and lower body lifts to tighten sagging tissue.
