Brow Lift
Brow wrinkles can mistakenly be interpreted as stress, anger, fatigue or sadness. Additionally, the aging process can cause the eyebrows to descend creating a "heavy" brow.
The look of the brow can be improved with a brow lift. This can be performed in two ways. The traditional technique requires a long incision to remove extra skin and to treat the muscles. This is only recommended for certain patients.
The most common technique utilized for brow rejuvenation at the Waldorf Center is the endoscopic brow lift. This is performed with a few small incisions behind the hairline that allow the insertion of a small camera hooked to a monitor. With this camera, the muscles and tissues can be precisely viewed and treated.
This operation improves the shape and position of the eyebrows and reduces wrinkles in the forehead. Most patients do not find a brow lift to be particularly painful, and recovery to full activity is usually complete within a few weeks.
